We believe that all children should have access to meaningful education. We embrace diverse backgrounds and life circumstances, creating opportunity for all children to join us through our scholarship program.
Newmark Primary is a place where children participate in action-oriented, authentic learning grounded in the real world. Our scholarship program aims to make this learning accessible for all children, from all backgrounds. Our scholarships are for children, who would not ordinarily be able to attend Newmark, but have the potential to thrive in our setting.
Our scholarships are open to all children from Foundation to Year 6. Families interested in applying for a scholarship may do so on these grounds:
We welcome applications from families that would not ordinarily have the financial means to attend Newmark Primary (assessed on a case-by-case basis).
In response to the current COVID pandemic, Newmark Primary has also introduced a temporary hardship fund (assessed on a case-by-case basis).
We welcome applications from families from diverse backgrounds.
We will consider families from minority cultural groups (including Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander, and Pacific Islander peoples, amongst others).
We will consider how aspects of an individual’s identity and background (including gender, race, class, sexuality, religion, disability) combine to create a diverse community which fosters respect for individual differences.
